REBATE will only be offered if all parties approve specially Lenders, Builders. A few of the builders in New Jersey are not allowing
REBATES. If any party objects, REBATE will not be given to the clients. REBATE can only be given as closing cost or prepaids and has to be on the CD/HUD. No separate Checks will be
issued for REBATES by the Title company or Realty Mark Central.
In the State of New Jersey, COMMISSIONS are negotiable. Consult a tax professional on implications of any applicable taxes.
Rebate can be offered by a real estate broker and not an agent or broker agent. It must be a written contract such as a buyer agency agreement signed at the beginning of brokerage relationship. Rebate is paid in form of credit to buyer at closing, which will be on the closing documents (HUD-1).
